Paper map, how old skhool you say!  May be, but sure beats looking at that small screen on your phone or gps unit. Plus what happens when your devices goes black at the end of the day because you had a look at every intersection you came to?

Carry a paper map and know how to read it.  What you need – Flathead National Forest, Glacier View Ranger District.  This will cover the entire ride.

It’s alway nice to be able to get the big picture and see your relative position while on the route.
